We serve extravagant nutritious breakfasts each morning for guests staying in the Main Inn, The Carriage House, The Luxury Suite, and The Sunshine Suite. See some of our menu choices below.*
We are also offering "Heart Healthy Breakfasts" which we highly recommend.**
"Breakfast in a Basket" is available to Carriage House Guests.
The main house formal Dining Room.
You may choose to have breakfast outdoors in the courtyard overlooking the water garden. Please tell us ahead of time if you want to have breakfast outdoors and we'll prepare a breakfast which you can carry outside (more of a continental-style breakfast instead of the usual hot breakfast).
There's a small bistro table in the courtyard . . .
. . . and there's a covered table in the courtyard.
This little bistro table is out in front of "The Carriage House" -- another possibility for a private breakfast.
~ MENU CHOICES ~
*Some possible breakfasts:
A variety of coffees and teas
These are always changing, but some of our current favorites are --
parfaits with organic honey and oat granola, nuts, and fruits
our version of peaches and cream
baked pears with cranberries and almonds
fresh fruit bowls (with seasonal fruits) with a homemade lemon/honey/fresh basil syrup, if desired
baked apples and raisons in a cinnamon/nutmeg sauce
We offer an ever-changing menu of delicious entrees which could include Stuffed French Toast (different fruits and cheeses), a variety of Omelets (with a choice of ingredients) or Scrambled Eggs with Cheese and Herbs, a variety of Pancakes and Waffles, and meats may include Turkey Bacon, Sausage, or Ham.
~ We use fresh herbs and edible flowers from our gardens whenever available. ~
** "Heart Healthy Breakfast Choice #1"
Whole grain English muffin topped with avocado, tomato, Swiss cheese, and sprinkled with a tiny bit of extra virgin olive oil. Then a poached egg is added and some fresh herbs (in season) on top (as recommended on the Dr. Oz TV show)
** "Heart Healthy Breakfast Choice #2"
Whole grain oatmeal with:
Freshly-ground flax seeds
Freshly-ground sunflower seeds
Raw wheat germ
Blackstrap molasses (small amount)
Seasonal fresh fruits
(The above "Heart Healthy Breakfast #2" supplies the broad spectrum of B vitamins needed daily for energy and to help combat stressful situations and fight heart disease.)
** "Heart Healthy Breakfast Choice #3"
A Green Smoothie made with fresh organic baby spinach along with some of the following fruits: mango, apple, purple grapes, pineapple, kiwi, banana, and strawberries
